Onze was established by Tatevik Avetisyan, a visionary whose life has changed forever when she attended her first fashion show while being a schoolgirl.
Why Onze?
*Onze* means 11 in French. Here are some of the reasons why we chose this name:
1) Onze was launched in 2011.
2) Our founder’s birth date is the 11th.
3) For each design, we produce a maximum of 11 units, ensuring exclusivity and attention to detail.
4)and the last but not least “11” is not just a number for us—it’s a belief in the power of unity : 1 + 1= “11” this means when two individuals meet, they bring together their unique energies, ideas, and inspirations, sparking a chain reaction that brings people closer. At Onze, we celebrate this idea of unity and the endless possibilities it brings.

The story behind our slogan
At the beginning Onze has started its journey as a menswear brand. As we all know, there are lots of rules, boundaries and limitations traditionally placed in menswear and we had passion on learning all those rules.
On the other hand, we wanted to give a uniqueness to our garments so as to transmit an authenticity to the brand.
There came the idea of our slogan “break the rules properly”. So, we learn the rules to break them properly.
It's about challenging fashion norms with balance.
